PLUSCO 100 API Modified Thread Compound is manufactured to meet the specifications of API Bulletin 5A3. PLUSCO 100 API Modified Thread Compound contains a complete corrosion protection package designed to protect threads against the effects of (H2S) (hydrogen sulfide), salt water, or many other chemicals.

Application

PLUSCO 100 API Modified Thread Compound may be used in hydrostatic testing, pipe storage, or as a down hole running compound. It is recommended for use on casing, tubing, line pipe, and meets all of the performance objectives for a thread compound described in Bulletin 5A3.

PLUSCO 100 API Modified Thread Compound is not recommended for use on rotary shouldered connections as stated in API 5A3.

PLUSCO 116 Metal Free Thread Sealant Compound contains an additive package designed to provide total protection to thread and shoulder surfaces. This is especially true during make-up and breakout. It provides ease of make-up to prevent galling in thread connections and breakout under adverse conditions. PLUSCO 116 Metal Free Thread Sealant Compound contains corrosion and rust inhibitors, provides excellent water resistance and adheres to wet metal surfaces. Tool joints can be made up with made up connection. PLUSCO 116 Metal Free Thread Sealant Compound will not harden, protects galling and seizing and remains brushable over a wide temperature range.

PLUSCO 126 Lead Base Drill Collar Compound is manufactured according to API recommendations, for a drill collar compound. It contains 65% pure metallic lead, in a premium petroleum base composition, it also contains "PLUS-EX", a special additive which provides a uniform compound coating and prevents lead build-up.
